The legendary Muddy Waters once said, "The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll". That being said, Country, Blues and Rock and Roll had a 'ménage a trois' and that inbred baby was aptly named:

Equal parts country, blues and fiery rock and roll, these guys are only concerned with two things: Fun and more fun! Buckle up as they take you away on two-minute blasts into the world of Drag Racing, Hot Rods and weird uncles. Over the years, The Speedkings have kept everyone from hardcore punks to country drunks dancing on broken glass and falling on their asses. To date, the band has released two cassette e.p.'s, a split 7" single with Toronto toughs The Sinisters, and is featured on the C.D. compilation 'Dead Mans Tale'. They have five full-length c.d.s: 'Line Dancing To The Oldies', 'Tales From A Truck Stop', 'Blood, Sweat And Primer', 'Live at Ted's Collision' and 'Love Annihilator'. Also of note is the award winning video 'Soap Box Preacher' (from Line Dancing To The Oldies), which has aired on Much Music and is included with the Line Dancing c.d., as well as live performances. The band is constantly working on new material, and Twitch always has something up his sleeve!
